Flying with Maurer to the ISS has been again postponed.

Matthias Maurer, a German astronaut, must yet wait: As a precaution, the NASA will begin the upcoming weekend because one of the crew members appears to be little off.

Update: In the meantime, the start of Matthias Maurer and his crew has been postponed again. It is now scheduled to take place on the morning of 11 November 2021 (CET) at the earliest.

The waiting time for the German Esa astronaut Matthias Maurer will be a little longer: the last start with SpaceX to the ISS space station, which was last postponed to Wednesday, had to be laid again. Now it could start on the US East Coast late in the evening.

This time, NASA officials have postponed the launch as a precaution for medical reasons. One member of the team is "slightly ill," according to NASA, but it is not Covid-19. However, it should be ensured that the other team members do not become infected in space.

The "Crew Dragon" capsule of the private space company SpaceX and the rocket are fully functional and remained on the spot until the new starting test, according to NASA. The start window then opens on Saturday, November 6th at 11:36 p.m. East Coast period; in Germany early Sunday morning.
